Our goal at Community Action of Etowah County is to effectively educate our community on the importance of financial health in regards to credit, loans, budgeting and savings goals. We aim to equip our community with the knowledge of spending and saving wisely in an effort to create a greater sense of security with respect to personal finances. Being able to assist our community in these areas will help families get on their feet, manage personal savings goals, and support financial prosperity.
Budget Counseling teaches individuals how to plan and manage their finances.
Individuals will learn to:
- Set goals
- Organize
- Prioritize
- Save
This program is for individuals to learn how to take control of their overall finances.
- Are you behind on bills?
- Is debt getting in your way?
- Want credit to work for you?
- Is your savings account growing?
Other Counseling And Referrals Available
Counseling and referrals are offered to those with special needs beyond programs or services that may not be offered by our agency. It is our goal to ensure that families’ needs are met, regardless of whether or not we offer the program or service.
