Home Weatherization

Home Weatherization Program

The  Home Weatherization Program is created and designed specifically for lower income families to help provide more energy efficient homes.

The program provides energy conservation techniques such as:

  • Installing Insulation (attic, wall and/or floor)
  • Weather Stripping
  • Caulking and Sealing Windows
  • Installing Storm Windows
  • Installing Outside Doors

Our program focuses on health and safety concerns, such as installing carbon monoxide sensors and smoke detectors, and removing open flame heaters.

Procedures recommended by the National Energy Audit Tool (NEAT) make houses more energy efficient by reducing energy usage, lowering utility bills, and making the house a more comfortable place to live.
